2012 Focus Izalco Donna 3.0 Women’s Road Bike. Everything about the new Focus Izalco Donna road bike, from its elegantly stylish paint scheme to its compact geometry, is aimed at appealing to the female cyclist. The Izalco Donna features Focus’s Ergoride carbon frame, which has a shorter, sloping top tube and taller steerer tube to shorten the reach to the handlebars for better handling and a more comfortable ride. Other women’s-specific features include adjustable-reach shifters, a women’s saddle and a narrow handlebar with shallow drops. Like all Izalcos, the Donna also has internally routed cables for a clean look and smoother shifting, a BB30 bottom bracket for incredibly efficient energy transfer, and vibration-damping curved seatstays for a plush and comfortable ride. A smooth-shifting Shimano 105 drivetrain, Shimano 105 brakes and lightweight Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels round out the Donna’s component package and promise miles of high-performance fun.
